Flea Market

We went to a local flea market that was hosted by Old Towne Antiques & Books in Duluth. Below are some photos of the ground-breaking event.

Here are the people that made the event so fun!...

KRISTA NOSAN (RIGHT) & HER MOTHER OF SNOWMAN HILL.
THEY ARE HOSTING A SPECIAL EVENT THIS WEEKEND. CHECK IT OUT IF YOU CAN...
SNOWMAN HILL FALL SALE
SEPTEMBER 27 & 28
10 AM - 4 PM
4426 WEST TISCHER ROAD
DULUTH, MN

One of the best parts of selling is being there early to see all the good stuff that vendors are pulling out of their vehicles. When I see something I love, I jump on it because it will be gone within minutes (I've learned that the hard way!). So here are the fab finds I brought home with me from the flea market that day...

A GREAT BENCH FROM SARAH.

A FAB-U-LOUS GROCER'S SCALE

A STREET SIGN FROM THE VENDOR'S WHO SOLD THE SCALE.
"IDEAL ST."...WHAT A MOTIVATIONAL STREET NAME!

I ADDED THE CUSHION TO THIS GREAT CHAIR.

And if you think that's it...you're crazy! I'm behind on my junking posts! I've been finding all kinds of great goodies. Be ready for all kinds of repurposing, makeovers, and projects that we will be working on when the Minnesota weather moves us inside for the winter months.

  1. I love all your finds, and especially the scale and those street signs. It's funny seeing people in jackets, we are still in shorts down here, hopefully we'll feel a nip in the air sometime soon.
Hope you did well at your "first" sale. I'm sure it will be the first of many, you've been bit by the bug for sure.

  3. Love Junkologie and the tagline is perfect too! I hope you did well at your sale after all that hard work. Setting up at a fleamarket is on my to-do list...I just haven't been brave enough yet.

Your grocer's scale is exactly what I need to serve up appetizers on a platter. And I really want to snag that rocker too! Keep on junkin'!

  6. Oh no, I have your name! I registered at JunkMarket Style as "Junkologist" because the screen name I use everywhere else was already taken. I haven't posted there yet, but the name Junkologist should be yours!!

I've never been to a flea market in Duluth. Will have to put that on my to do list!
