  2. Good grief! That last by Primitiques 'n Poetry removed was actually me. Mindy left herself signed in on my computer and I didn't realize it until I had already posted under her ID. So I also deleted it under her ID. Sorry for the confustion. Anyway, here is MY comment...

Hmmmm... I am guessing it's some kind of split designed French loveseat. Can't wait to see the whole thing!

  4. You always have the BEST pictures. Absolutely stunning!! Can I ask which camera you use and if you have a special lens with it? I'm in the market for a digital SLR as we speak (blog?) and I'm insanely curious about yours.

  6. Cora,

I have a Sony Alpha...and I absolutely love it! No special lens...just the 18-70 mm that came with the camera. It's a great standard lens that works for most things. I also have a 70-300 mm zoom lens for zooming and macro shots. I will soon be getting a wide angle lens as soon as they come into the store.

    Three things I've learned...

    (1) Go to a actual camera store that specialize in cameras and that have people who know what they are talking about. Avoid places like Best Buy that sell lots of other things and have limited knowledge.

    (2) Find a store that focuses on fitting you with a camera that meets your needs...not trying to get rid of their clearance or trying to get the most money out of you.

    (3) All the main companies have great cameras. Whether it's Sony, Canon, or Nikon, you can't go wrong!! The camera has to feel right in your hands and have the features you want. Don't buy one just because of the name.

  7. One more thing...

A polarizer is a must have for outdoor shots!
