Gorilla Glue, one of the four main sponsors of the Country Living Fair, is featuring both The DIY Club and Sue Whitney of JunkMarket Style this weekend. If you are in or near Columbus, Ohio, I suggest you get on over and see all the ruckus!

FREE DIY PROJECT TUTORIALS
First of all, I'm thrilled that Gorilla Glue will be handing out DIY project tutorials from each of The DIY Club gals. Here's a draft of the one they created for my Crystal Prism Cabinet Pulls project that added some simple bling using a dab of Gorilla Glue and little ingenuity.

MOO DISCOUNT
When you stop by the Gorilla Glue tent to pick up The DIY Club project handouts, be sure to pick up one of the new Moo business cards for The DIY Club. Why? It's not just a business card...it's also a coupon for any Moo.com product. Thanks, Moo! :)

GORILLA GLUE FEATURING SUE WHITNEY OF JUNKMARKET STYLE

Sue Whitney is the creative genius behind JunkMarket Style. She runs JunkMarketStyle.com, a site where members can sign up and post their own creative junk-inspired projects. She is the author of several books, the latest being Junk Beautiful: Outdoor Edition. She will be giving two demonstrations each day of the event at the Gorilla Glue tent. On Saturday, she will be giving a main stage presentation.

If you make it to the event, stop by the Gorilla Glue tent to tell the Gorilla Glue folks and Sue Whitney that Amy says hi! We at WhisperWood Cottage are proud to be a team member of The DIY Club and a contributor on JunkMarket Style. We love that Gorilla Glue and Moo are providing such inspiration and support for creative minds across the web! I can't wait to hear about all the fun!!

  5. I followed your advice and tried to access the JunkMarket Style.com site and my WOT (Worthiness of Trust) computer rating site which rates sites according to privacy, child safety, trustworthiness and vendor reliability, says it is an unsafe site. It gives no higher than a 2 for any of these areas.
Before you suggest that readers access this any more, you might want to check and see if this is a correct representation and if not, then they may want to contact WOT and find out why. My computer won't even let me access it unless I tell it that I know I am visiting an unsafe site and taking the protection of computer at my own risk. Needless to say, I am not willing to do that at all. Please check this information and let me, as well as your other readers, know what is going on with this. Thank you,

  6. bargainmom10...I have been a member of the site for two years and have not had any issues. While I am not aware of the basis on which the WOT rating is determined, I can say that the site does not sell anything and it has only family friendly content. Thank you for making us aware of the concern. I've passed the information on to the owner of the site.
