I thought I'd give you a little background on the furniture that's chillin' in the center of the new studio space...the marble topped iron table and the two office chairs.
The chairs are...you guessed it!...from Pottery Barn. Now, before you ask me how I afforded two $400 chairs, let me tell you that I didn't. No, they were not gifts. No, I did not steal them. I found them at a discount store called Tuesday Mornings about 5-6 years ago. When I looked underneath one of them and saw the PB label, I was shocked. PB at Tuesday Mornings? Awesome! Because they were marked down to an amazing price, I decided to get both of them. I knew what a great deal I was getting, and I wasn't willing to share it with anyone else!
The two chairs are cushioned with some chair pads from Pier 1. Again...about 5-6 years old.
And the table...a flea market find. The base is an ivory painted iron with a perfect amount of rust detail. It is topped with a round piece of carrera marble. The vendor told me that it was not an original pairing, but I'm quite happy with how she put the base and top together. This table had been used as a side table in the living room for the past couple years. It now has a new purpose and featured place of honor in the studio!
