My 2nd Project of the Year: Industrial Coffee Table

The living room is feeling a bit more industrial these days.

The old coffee table (above) has been relegated to the junk shed.

In it's place is this bad boy of a salvaged table base that I scored for $20-$25. Are you as shocked as I was? I'll take it!! I have no idea about it's previous purpose.

All I had to do was order glass and set it in place.

The space underneath is great for the tufted faux fur ottoman we made last fall.

Or how about our vintage rolling trunk?

I like how the trunk adds extra storage, but I need to work on lining the inside.
I feel another project coming on!

  2. What!? I'm not too late for the 1st project? Look for me. I really like the industrial table. Your old one could use some paint rubbed here and there and make it look different...
