Autumn in the north is a wondrous time. Russet, gold, and auburn colors abound. Pumpkins, mushrooms, and gourds are plentiful. The breeze crisply blows through the tiring leaves and whispers ever-so-slightly "Rest is coming." The whispers grow until, yes, the leaves give way to the slumbering winter and new whispers fill our ears. Enjoy, my friends, these visual whispers that have greeted me the past few weeks...
FROM THE TREETOPS...
TO THE BARK, LEAVES, AND SUN... THE GLORIOUS VOICES OF AUTUMN ARE SPEAKING...
All I can say is. . . jealous. That is the one thing I miss about Idaho (granted Idaho Autumn lasts for a few weeks and then snows for 6-8 months.)
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love Texas, the only thing we have close to this is in East Texas. It's beautiful, but nothing like y'all's. Your photos are fabulous. Debbie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. As Debbie said, we don't get to appreciate this much in the Dallas area. Thank you for sharing. ~Mindy
ReplyDeleteI agree with what those fellow Texans said. Very Colorfull.

Hi, Amy! Beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing the wonderful colors up north. If I can plan another trip to Fargo, I'll let you know. Btw, hope you had a great birthday!

Wow, these are gorgeous. I do miss those colors. I have barely had time to think about fall. Of course Texas weather does not help either. Julie
