What's this image above, you ask?
It's what I picked up yesterday at Barnes & Noble. It's a magazine and DVD combination from one of my favorite junking sites: JunkMarketStyle.com.
The magazine...
The magazine is a 48 page excerpt from the current best-seller, Junk Beautiful- Room by Room Makeovers with JunkMarket Style, highlighting the best of the best from the book. It includes 5 room makeovers along with many of Sue Whitney's favorite step-by-step projects. I already own the book, but I couldn't pass this up! I love, love, love JunkMarket and all of their ideas. I had to have the magazine...and the DVD...
The DVD...
The DVD actually allows you to meet Sue and see her in action! I'm sure you'll love her as much as I do! I haven't even had a chance to view it yet, but I'm told that the DVD includes:

The DVD actually allows you to meet Sue and see her in action! I'm sure you'll love her as much as I do! I haven't even had a chance to view it yet, but I'm told that the DVD includes:
- a flea market shopping experience including all the tips and tricks
- a style file
- three different bathrooms three different ways
- a creative workshop section with Sue, Kimberly, and their new Junk Hunk, Brandon
- a video version of Sue's bedroom makeover
- a personally guided tour of Sue's home!
How much is it?
The cover price is $12.99. I love anything that comes out of JunkMarket, so that price is a bargain to me. I tell you...the quality images and how-to instructions are my favorite things!
When & where is it available?
Right now! It was released December 30, 2008, so look for it on newsstands in locations such as: CostCo, Target, Lowe's, Home Depot, Menard's, Borders, Barnes & Noble, Grocery Chains and many other outlets. It took a week to get to the Duluth area, so if it's not there yet...it's coming!
One more thing!
One of my favorite emails to receive is the JunkMail e-letter from JunkMarketStyle. It's a free weekly piece that is packed with great ideas. Go to the JunkMail sign-up page if you want in on the fun!
A girl has to have inspiration, doesn't she?
Love it all, Sue, Kimberly, and Brandon!

Yeah, you're back! I've been wondering where you were?? I bet it feels great to be rested and ready for more junking!!! I went to get that magazine at B&N last week and it wasn't in yet. I need to go get it today! Great to have you back! Krista
ReplyDeleteI can relate to the technology break! I did the same over Christmas, and I can't say how nice that felt!
ReplyDeleteI need to get my hands on this magazine. I love all things JunkMarket too! I'm hoping it'll be available for a while as I live nowhere near a decent book store!
Hey, I noticed you were gone! Good to see that you are back.
ReplyDeleteI really missed you kiddo!!! Glad you're back at the old keyboard. I do wish you would get more excited about JunkMarket though! Just kidding-I love to see someone with passion for what she loves and Girl, you got the passion. Tn'T
ReplyDeleteAmy, good to see you're back at it! You do need to take a break every now and then. I did get to watch the DVD and I loved it! I wish I could move into the "House that Junk Built". It's simply fab!!!!! Btw, I have your large letter "I" from Sweet Salvage! I'll give it to you when you come for Mustard Moon. In the meantime, happy blogging!

I knew an alcoholic once who stopped drinking periodically just to prove he wasn't addicted. Is that why you stopped pounding on your computer?
ReplyDeleteThought so!

Well, I certainly love the cover page of the book, so maybe I will have to go check it out! (As if I need another book to give me more inspiration for things I don't have time to do!) :)
