It's time for...
Metamorphosis Monday!
Hosted by Susan@Between Naps on the Porch
Here we go...

What do you get when you take a cool old box with a great handle and latch but no bottom,...

...and a set of small pyrex bowls?

With few simple tea light candles, you have a great centerpiece or side table that sets the mood!

As I was doing this project, I remembered I had seen it somewhere else. Where? Ah, yes, in Decorating JunkMarket Style. See it here on page 19? There's always so much inspiration in those books!!

Cool idea! I love it!
ReplyDeleteIf it doesn't sell quickly bring it down to me! I love it!

Good project. And thanks for showing us the source. The source photo reminded me I have four chairs like the ones in the book that I need to get out of storage and get busy on - unlike you who has no unfinished projects! Right?

I love that--what a great use for a botomless case!
ReplyDeleteWonderful project! I always look for broken bits to re-purpose but when I find them inspiration often flies out the door!
ReplyDeleteCat Daddy brought home a ton (or as Sue says, a yitload) of those pyrex dishes and I thought what the heck am I gonna do with those. BINGO! Now I just have to find something bottomless besides me.

Thank you, Amy. My camera is a Canon 30D. I was using a Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USM lens for the pictures at Leola's. I think I was shooting at 1000 ISO. I was having a blast!
