Well, my friend, Renee@CottageLifestyle recently started freelance writing as the Minneapolis Thrifty Shopping Examiner. She contacted me because was interested in doing an article on flash card ideas. She got me thinking about what else could be done with great vintage flash cards. Here are some other ideas I came up with...

If you have other flash card ideas, contact Renee...cottagelifestyle@gmail.com.

Girl, they are all great ideas, BUT I love the Boy likes Girl one the best...that is just tutu stinking cute!
ReplyDeleteGo to Margo at RoboLady's blog and see the post she did yesterday on what catalogs are selling your darling top idea for. It will blow your mind. Then come back and tell me if we can put that price on yours at Zapp! LOL

I'm with Debbie....love that last one! Lots of neat ideas, Amy! ~Mindy
ReplyDeleteWow, I love them all. I am so bummed that I don't own a single flash card. I need to get them on my most wanted list.
ReplyDeleteSee you tomorrow. We will be leaving Mpls around 8:15 and should be at your shop around 10:30/10:45. I will call when we are 1/2 hour out.

These are all fabulous, but the last one is my fave too. I've got to put mine in my booth (the few that I have).... thanks for the inspiration. XOX
ReplyDeleteVery cool, Amy! I too love the boy likes girl set. Nice work putting all these great ideas together!
ReplyDeleteCandy
Ohhh! I LOVE the boy likes girl! Very cleaver!
ReplyDeleteCheck this.I bet it wouldn't cost too much to have that shipped to my office in Mesquite. Dare I ask how much?
Hi Amy- What a great post! So fun and filled with cool ideas. I too find the Boy Likes Girl one to be my favorite, but the tide one in the lamp with seashells is cool too.
ReplyDeleteTHanks for sharing such a fun idea. I'm scouting out flashcards now. I have a few, but less than 5. I bought a nurse one for my sister that is an RN and gave it to her with a gift of junk. Junk is the best.
Hope you can make it down to our new shop "the French Flea" soon.

Those are great, I like the last one the best too. Those flashcards are so fun!
ReplyDeleteI love all of those ideas. I thought flash cards would be so cute in a nursery or a child's room. If I ever find any Eli may have some additions to his room
ReplyDeleteAdorable ideas! I have quite a collection, but haven't done much with them...I don't know why?! Fun, fun! Andrea
ReplyDeleteThose are awesome! I love the boy likes girl! best. I'll have to keep my eye out for some cards. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I have a series of these flashcards- in French since I was a French teacher- and I just put them around the house in places- like dans le foyer is in the entry...these are cute ideas!
ReplyDeleteWow, really great ideas!
