THE ENTRANCE...ell, three weeks have passed since I posted the before photos of this master bedroom. RJNJ, my handsome hubby, has been hard at work making my vision a reality. I helped where I could, but he is the pro at all things construction-related!! After long days and late nights, we are well on our way to transforming the dreary space into an inspired sanctuary. Here is what has happened during phase 1.
SMALL PHOTOS ARE THE BEFORES, LARGE PHOTOS ARE THE AFTERS...

The next stage involves doors for the walk-in closet and bathroom, shelving for the closets, furniture, and window/wall coverings. So exciting!!
Well...what do you think so far?
Blogged as part of Metamorphosis Monday over at Susan's Between Naps on the Porch.

I am loving those double wood/glass closet doors! And the floors are rockin' the house. You are gonna have to keep that man! ~Mindy
ReplyDeleteRemoving the carpet really opened up the area. I think I'm going to love where this is going!

The carpet removal really opened up the room and made it look bigger. Someone will be getting lot of clothes space.... Now who would that be? And speaking of closets- that door is so nice! Too bad it all takes so long to complete. Don't you just wish you could twitch it all done a la Samantha from Bewitched? * grin *

Wow Amy and Ron, this is looking fabulous. It is very cool to see how different the space looks from the change over of the carpet to the new flooring. What did you decided to use. We are trying to pick something for our livingroom/greatroom for our home to replace the carpet and are looking for tips. This is going to be a sanctuary when you're done. You have great vision. Can't wait to see the end results.
