I
could NOT wait for STAGE 2 of the kitchen makeover to get started. Once it started, I wondered if it would ever end!! The painting of the cabinets seemed endless! Three coats total...1 primer coat and 2 paint coats for each cabinet and cabinet door. After comparing the before photos in STAGE 1 with the photos below, the painting was definitely worth it!
STAGE 2...January 2007

And if you are wondering about the grainy photos, this project happened during the pre-digital SLR and pre-blogging days here at WWC.

Beautiful!

Well done!
ReplyDeleteToo bad the cabinets are not more centered on the wall - you wouldn't have to reach so high, and you might use the top of the cabinets for some up-lighting or storage. Nevertheless, you have a Fabulous result!
Enjoy it!
I am on your page and still can't review the pictures with the mouse. Any Ideas.
ReplyDeleteI got to your post from a search on ceilings - love the ceilings - wish I could find the "how to" for the ceilings. That is my project before my cabinets but yes your cabinets are outstanding!!
