PS I love that door! Wish I wasn't in a rental!
I love your door so much that the first time I saw it months ago, I put it on my to do list! I bought an antique door from a flea market the other day and my husband installed it on barn track in our bedroom yesterday. Our hardware isn't antique :( but the new galvanized looks pretty good too. I still have a few things I need to do to the door before it's completely finished, but it has been the highlight of my month! Thanks for the GREAT inspiration!!!

Yes. Yes, that was fun. Really fun, actually!
ReplyDeleteI just love those doors. And my goodness, it's hard to believe that the "before" and "after" shots are of the same space. You are a magician.
Your room make-over is definitely on my list of "things done well." Love the barn door track, that's for sure. ~ Sue

This is my all time favorite!!! I LOVE it. I recently found out that my elementary school was torn down. It was the same school my dad and his siblings went to as well. I wish I knew what they did with those doors!
ReplyDeleteLove that door :)!!!
ReplyDeletei just wanted to tell you that i LOVE this. and i think you're a great designer. SYTYCD was luck to have you and i'm thankful that it linked me up with your blog!
ReplyDeletenow i need to go find an old door...
:)
I absolutely love that barn door. Where ever did you find it?
ReplyDeleteI love that door. We have something similar (the track part at least) on our bathroom but can't figure out a way to make it stay closed. We currently have a loop/hook system but it's not cutting it. Does yours actually fit into the doorway or does it use some sort of locking mechanism?
ReplyDeleteAny help would be appreciated, thanks!
