A Letter to Santa...

Santa Baby,

slip a sable under the tree, for me.

been an awful good girl, Santa Baby,

so hurry down the chimney tonight.

Dear Santa,

The indomitable Eartha Kitt could sing it like no other. But, Santa Baby, I don't recommend coming down our chimney. You might end up a little singed with the fire going non-stop and all. If you would text me when you're about 5 minutes away, I'll just meet you at the front door. Please just make sure it's not during the weather and that it's not too late...a girl likes her sleep, you know. :)

Furs aren't all that cool any more either, so please be a little more earth-conscious and animal-friendly if you are going to spoil me (which I'm sure you will). Since I don't bake, you won't get any cookies here, which I'm sure Mrs. Claus will be glad to hear. You know what the doctor said about your health! I'll be sure to put out some type of healthy snack...gluten free, sugar free, dairy free, and definitely organic!!

Love you lots, Santa Baby!! See you soon!

  1. Way cute!! :) Love your Santa and cloche!

  2. BEAUTIFUL!!! Love that song...Santa Baby! I ABSOLUTELY am IN LOOOOOVE with your blog and EVERYTHING you do! It is all picture perfect! And HOW o HOW do you make your pictures SNOW???
LOVE it! Thank you again for the feature a few weeks ago! That was a HUGE honor as your blog is AMAZING!

  3. Dear Amy,
I've got your name and Christmas letter here in front of me. Seems you have been a very good girl this year, so I'll be by just a little after midnight. BTW...will your husband be home?
As for the fur...doncha know...the reindeers and I are now wearing faux...it's all the rage here at the Texas Pole.

    P.S. Please...not Tanner's dog biscuits again...'kay?

  4. I don't know if Santa Baby will be too thrilled about the lack of cookies. Me? I am taking no chances. I am leaving cookies and a veggie snack! Ha!!
    Merry Christmas

  5. Love it! Love Earth Kitt's version too. Boy, she had such a voice. Your Santa is very pretty sitting on the little wreath under the cloche. You could leave him some popcorn, I'm sure he tires of all those cookies, he could share with Rudolph and he may need the roughage!

  6. Amy, Have a wonderful holiday! smiles....

  7. So cute! And as always oohing and sewing over your photography! Beautiful!

  8. LOL!!! That's supposed to be awwing not sewing! My phone! changed the word on me!!!

  9. I let Santa pause on top of my fridge for one of my last posts, and I saw your name on his "nice" list. I'd say you will get what you asked for! Merry Christmas, Amy!

  10. I Love Your Blog, love the Santa in the glass- what a great element ... Have a Merry Christmas
