I was thinking about an egg today. You know. The egg. The "incredible, edible egg." We eat them. We decorate them. We decorate with them. They are essential representatives of spring time and Easter. What is it about the egg that makes it so special?
If you know the biblical history of Easter and the great rising or rebirth that happened on that day, then you might make the connection between Easter, spring, and the simple egg. The egg represents a coming birth, a hatching, a new life.
Spring is a great time to reflect on our current lives. To weigh our inner selves and determine how we measure up to the self we want to be. It's a time consider if we are in balance, slightly off balance, or simply off the scale. It's the time to consider a possible rebirth of ourselves, the possibility to release the past and bring forth the new, the opportunity to create a self that is...

Who is the self that you seek to create?
What is it you'd like to see more of in your life?
How do you want to feel?
What can you release or add to make these things a reality?
What can you do more of or less of to bring this new you to fruition?
Yes, you deserve it. Yes, it is possible.

Amy you said the perfect words for what I needed to hear. I am with you, we need all of these things to truly be who we were meant to be! I love how you used a scale and the beautiful hand painted egg in your post. The egg reflecting the uniqueness of each one of us and the scale showing us how to balance each of these things that make us who we are. Love it! Maybe I read a little more into it, but I think it totally fits your message! lol ;)
