Now, I hope y'all know that we are throwing a fund-raising shindig over at The DIY Club this month.
THE EVENT:
It's called the 31 Days of Hope, and it is an online charity auction in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Proceeds support education and early detection efforts through DecoArt's Pretty 'n Pink program. The auction goes live on October 22 and runs through October 30. Winning bidders are featured on October 31.
WHAT IS UP FOR AUCTION?
All of the DIY Gals and Resident Bloggers, plus a few generous and creative DIY Club members, are donating their DIY projects to be put up for auction. Projects up for auction are being featured daily, October 1-21, at The DIY Club.
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR ME?
It means that you can help raise money for breast cancer education and prevention by bidding on your favorite items or at least the items of you favorite DIYer (ahem!).

AMY'S DONATED AUCTION PROJECT #1:
Well, here is one of my three projects being donated to the online auction.
This burlap earring display features an upholstered back and hooks for hanging.
As a bonus, I've included a canvas "love" tag stenciled in "Celebration Pink."
Here's how it looks with some earrings on display.
