Need an idea to makeover your old craft wreaths? How about faux fur?
With this pile of faux fur scraps leftover from my faux fur ottoman and faux fur jewelry display, I had this vision of a fur wreath. In search of a wreath to makeover, I stopped by a small, local thrift store on the way home from work recently and found this beauty for 49 cents...
With the scraps of faux fur and approximately 30 stick pins (that's right...stick pins...no sewing!...simply wrap the fur around and stick in the pins), here she is now...
Clean, fresh, and fun!
Welcome to the new year!

ReplyDeleteIt's a beauty...gotta love such a great use from scraps!
ReplyDeletePerfect for winter! Simple and elegant. Wrap and pin is the best part and styles have sure changed (I remember seeing lots of the 'before' wreaths in years past.)
ReplyDeleteFunky! The sad thing is that I'm pretty sure I made one of those calico cuties in my early days. I hope it wasn't mine. {:O
