I don't know if you know this about me, but I am a fan of metals. Especially gold, brass, and copper. Can't get enough of them! To me, they are warm and earthy. When I was offered the opportunity to try out Valspar's spray paint, I opted to go gold and bold!
Now, what to transform? I found this clock at Goodwill and decided it was a good candidate for some goldness.
{SPRAY PAINTING TIP FROM RON: Suspending the object from a wire puts the object at eye level and allows you to get all sides and angles without having to touch it or move it! Mint!}
I started by taping off around the clock face.
Then I taped a piece of a plastic shopping bag to cover the center.

From white and old to gold and bold! Thanks, Valspar! Two thumb's up for Valspar's Perfect Finish! The metallic gold is amazing. The coverage was quality and the quick dry time was super fast. No wonder it was named 2012 Product of the Year! I would definitely use this paint again!
Did I mention the twist and spray cap? So innovative!
Here it is all "did up" in the master bedroom.
