Do you remember our kitchen? Above is a photo of it after it's makeover in 2006. You can also check out the before and during photos. That makeover involved painting the hideous cabinets, replacing the cabinet hardware, putting glass and lighting in one bank of upper cabinets, painting the walls, installing new counters, putting in a new white sink, and adding decorative accessories. Since 2006, it's gotten pretty shabby and in need of a major overhaul!
Well, 7 years after that makeover, here's how are kitchen looks today...
We're doing a complete renovation this time around. Everything was stripped out, and Ron has been working on the floors and walls. All of the kitchen contents are now located by the front door in the living room. We cleared some shelving in the garage and brought it in for temporary storage.
The refrigerator is in the other corner of the living room, while the other appliances are out on the deck.
The rest of the kitchen is here...
If you'd like to see my Kitchen Pinterest board, you can get an idea of my overall inspiration for the room. Will keep you posted as the kitchen reno progresses!
Oh wow what a big undertaking I can't wait to see the progress. ~ Lisa
ReplyDeleteIt is a bit of an undertaking, but it's been going along smoothly. I'll get more photos up soon! :)
DeleteWOW, it's always shocking to see absolutely everything stripped out of a room. It looks so good the first time you re-did it, I can only imagine what you have in store for it now! I know you will be super creative in this space and we're all so excited to see your reveal!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words, Andrea! The room feels HUGE without anything in it. It was fun to go through the planning process. I'm excited to see how it will turn out, too. :)

Amy apparently the email address I have for you does not work anymore. Thank you So much for my sweet Greyhound Surprise. When Jane said she had something for me, from you, I was thinking it was some little something. Then she pulled out the wagon beauty and I was stunned. It is so perfect!!!!!!! Everyone around immediately started coming up with ideas of projects to do with it. I'm going to have a blog post next week about it. It is perfect, thank you for thinking of me.
